Uplifting Verses

This is a blog filled with Bible verses meant to uplift all those who read it. All of my posts are in KJV or NKJV version, unless stated otherwise. If I don't have a verse you'd like to see, feel free to let me know, but do know that I'll post the verse either in KJV or NKJV version unless you specifically ask for a different one.

Thanks for reading!

Hi All:

I’m honestly so sorry for not posting in literally months, and I thank you all so much for not unfollowing me (so far)! I know that there’s no excuse for neglecting posting verses, but I went through a pretty tough summer, and am finally starting to get settled into a new routine.

On the plus side, I hope to keep posting verses regularly, but I have to admit that it would be a great help if you all could submit your favorite verses into my ask box. =) It would be awesome to have everyone else’s favorites on here as well!

Again, thank you all so much! It means so much to me. =) Submit your verses!

God’s love is endless and perfect. I want everyone to know that nothing you’ve said, done, or even thought of doing can make God stop loving you. So the next time you’re feeling like you’re not good enough, just remember that God thinks you’re amazing, and that He loves you so much that even though He has every star, every ocean, every planet, every creature, every beautiful thing in this world, He died for you. He loves you more than anything else in the universe.

I am truly amazed.

It really does blow my mind that people are actually still following this blog after all of the neglect that I’ve allowed my followers to be subjected to. I’m sorry I haven’t posted in FOREVER! I owe you an apology, and an explanation. I’ve been incredibly bogged down with homework and exams, and I went home last week for spring break. My house, unfortunately, still has no usable internet, so I couldn’t make any posts. Then when I returned to campus last week, for some reason my computer decided to spontaneously crash, and I’ve been without a laptop since then.

Again, sorry for not posting! I hope to get some posts up tomorrow! Thank you guys SO MUCH for continuing to follow this blog! You all are amazing. =)

Liberty University is building a school for the children of Rwanda, and they’re asking for donations. You can give any amount that you want, every dollar counts. =) Even if you can’t give anything, could you all please reblog this so the word can get spread? Thank you guys so much!

I had this amazing moment tonight:

In the dining hall tonight, one of the servers starting talking to my friends and me. It was an amazing experience. This man, whom we had never met before, shared with us a prayer request, and told us his testimony. He was an amazing inspiration to me.

His testimony, he told us, is that he had a difficult life. He was involved with drugs and gangs, and he had been in prison. He came into the local church here, with drugs and $6,000 of drug money in his pockets, and spoke with one of the pastors. The pastor told him, “Son, God told me to tell you to take those drugs, go to the bathroom right now, and flush them down the toilet.” The pastor had never met this man before, and knew nothing of what he had in his pockets. The man, though shocked, did not flush the drugs down the toilet. Instead, he sold them, and gave that money, plus the $6,000 he had previously, to the church when he got saved.

One of the most inspiring things this man told us tonight was that when he first got saved and was having trouble distinguishing between his old life and his new life, God told him, “Son, I’m not telling you not to dance. I’m just giving you a new party to dance at.”

It would be amazing if you all could pray for this man and his son. His 14 year old son was attacked by two 30 year old men with a knife and suffered severe head wounds, along with many other cuts to the rest of his body. Please pray that his son will be healed and that they will be able to apprehend and prosecute the men who did this.

Thank you all so much!
